DESCRIPTION:Training workshop on the subject of Basic Life Support (BLS) / Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) was organized at Khalifa Gul Nawaz Teaching Hospital MTI Bannu. \n     \nThe workshop was attended by medical officers\, house officers\, nurses\, and students from the college who were trained on the mentioned subjects. \nThe participants of the training session were briefed on the important principles of BLS and ACLS by Medical Director Professor Dr. Attaullah\, Professor Dr. Muhammad Nadeem of the Cardiology department\, and Assistant Professor Dr. Khalid Naseem\, which included diagnosis\, timely medical assistance\, and CPR practical exercises. Detailed lectures were given through practical exercises in the workshop. \nAt the end of the session\, Hospital Director Professor Dr. Muhammad Akram distributed certificates among the participants.

DESCRIPTION:According to the directives of provincial government\, once again  Khalifa Gul nawaz Teaching Hospital\, MTI Banu has reinstated  Sehat Sahulat Program. \n    \nIn hospital’s administration priorities\, providing facilities for free treatment to patients from remote areas through the Sehat Sahulat Program is included. \nTreatment of patients under health card has been resumed at Khalifa Gulnaz Teaching Hospital\, which has now been implemented. \nTo ensure the provision of health cards\, Chairman BoG MTI Bannu Abdur Rauf Khan and Hospital Director Dr. Ahmed Faraz gave special instructions\, with focal person Dr. Mohammad Zishan discussing important issues with other administrative staff and issuing instructions to relevant staff. \nUnder the supervision of the hospital administration\, all medical facilities will ensure the provision of services to all patients of the Health Facility Program through the established  Sehat Sahulat Center.

DESCRIPTION:Chairman BOG chaired an important meeting of  Board of Governors (BOG) MTI Bannu. \nThe meeting was attended by board members\, the Secretary of BoG\, and hospital executives. The determination of the leadership of the organization to enhance healthcare services was emphasized during the meeting. The agenda of the meeting included discussions on ongoing developmental work\, assessment of medical services. \n    \nDuring the meeting\, Chairman BoG Abdur Rauf was also briefed on the monthly reports of  MTI Bannu hospitals\, including Bannu Medical College. \nSubsequently\, Chairman BOG Abdur Rauf Khan also visited the newly constructed mosque in Bannu  Medical College and reviewed mosque’s construction work.

SUMMARY:Nursing Symposium 2024 at Bannu Medical College\, MTI Bannu
DESCRIPTION:A one-day Nursing Symposium was organized under the auspices of the Nursing and Quality & Patient Safety Department at Bannu Medical College. \nThe theme of the symposium was “Quality & Patient Safety” with the aim of boosting the morale of the nursing profession\, acknowledging their services\, and showcasing their efficiency. The symposium began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the national anthem. Nursing Director Zaiha Gul welcomed the guests\, faculty members\, nurses\, and students. Various sessions and activities were arranged for participants in the symposium including presentations\, discussions\, and question-and-answer sessions. \n            \nOn this occasion\, Dean/Chief Executive Officer Professor Dr. Dost Mohammad\, Hospital Director Dr. Ahmad Faraz\, Medical Director Prof. Dr. Mohammad Iqbal\, Associate Dean Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nadeem Khan\, DMS Admin Dr. Safdar Zaman Daud\, Additional Hospital Director Dr. Mohammad Nauman\, Dr. Syed Adnan\, Director Works Engineer Ehsan Ullah Khan\, Director Finance Altaf ur Rahman\, Deputy Director IT Abdul Ayaz Khan\, IT Manager Khalid Latif\, and heads of other departments attended. The leadership of MTI Bannu appreciated the symposium and distributed shields and certificates of honor among the top-performing Nursing Supervisors\, Nursing Managers\, Nursing Heads\, and Nursing Staff. It is worth mentioning that renowned consultant Prof. Dr. Yasmin from the UK participated online in the Nursing Symposium and congratulated MTI Bannu and Nursing Director Zaifa Gul on the successful event.

DESCRIPTION:In honor of Senior Office Assistant Abdul Hadi\, who has been serving in all three MTI hospitals\, a farewell ceremony was organized by Hospital Director Dr. Ahmed Faraz at Khalifa Gul Nawaz Teaching Hospital\, in which administrators\, heads of departments\, and employees from various departments participated wholeheartedly. \n   \nHospital Director Dr. Ahmed Faraz commended Abdul Hadi’s public services\, saying that his absence will be deeply felt. The hospital community appreciates your dedication and commitment. Addressing the ceremony\, Abdul Hadi expressed his gratitude to the administration\, saying that he has spent time in all three hospitals of MTI Bannu. These memories are the treasure of my life. Speaking of his public services\, he said it was his moral and national duty. Serving the people brings me joy and pride. Wherever possible\, I will appeal to all of you that we are all like a family. We should help each other’s work. I am grateful to all of you. My prayer is that may Allah be your supporter and helper.
