Department of Cardiology
Cardiology is the study and treatment of disorders of heart and the blood vessels. A person with heart disease or cardiovascular disease may be referred to a cardiologist.
At KGN hospital, we have 04 qualified cardiologists and properly maintained 10 bed CCU for In-Patients.
At DHQ Hospital, we have 02 cardiologists and 15 bed CCU for In-patients.
Our Objectives are to provide state-of-the-art healthcare facilities to cardiac patients suffering from different cardiac diseases and provide ongoing teaching and training for young doctors, nurses, and undergraduate students.
To control referrels of poor cardiac patients from southern districts to Peshawar and Islamabad, the manangement has initiated a project for establishment of Cardiac Catherization Lab at KGN Hospital Bannu.
