Accident & Emergency department of Khalifa Gul Nawaz Teaching Hospital is providing 7/24 emergency services to the patients of Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Karak, North & Sourth Waziristan districts. It is a busy department wherein on average 8000 trauma patients are given emergency treatment in a month. It is equiuped with all basic emergency equipment. It has an HDU, Minor OT and 20 bed ward. All emergency medicine are available round the clock.
Keeping in view the increasing flow of emergency patients, the management has planned to construct modern emergency block in DHQ Teaching Hospital.
