Chairman Prof. Dr. Farman Ullah Wazir Visit to District Headquarter Teaching Hospital, MTI Bannu

Chairman of Board of Governors, Professor Dr. Farman Ullah Wazir, visited the District Headquarter Teaching Hospital, where he reviewed medical facilities, ongoing services, and administrative matters across various departments.

During the visit, he was accompanied by the Dean of Bannu Medical College, Professor Dr. Shabeer Hussain. At this occasion, Additional Hospital Director Dr. Bismillah Khan, DMS Dr. Muhammad Haroon, and IT Manager DHQ Peer Taimoor Shah provided him with a detailed briefing on the hospital’s overall arrangements, facilities, and the challenges currently being faced.

Professor Dr. Farmanullah Wazir expressed satisfaction with the facilities provided to patients, stating that special attention is being given to ensuring that hospitals under MTI Bannu offer quality, timely, and accessible medical services.

He mentioned that the Board of Governors’ priorities include establishing a cath lab, initiating Institutional Based Private Practice (IBP), constructing a modern trauma center, and other new projects to ensure that the public has access to world-class health facilities in their own area.
